Are the mix ratios and brick sizes actually South African?
Yes — 15/20/25/30 MPa concrete mixes, maxi bricks, and M150 (390×140×190mm) and M200 (390×190×190mm) concrete blocks, priced against real SA supplier SKUs.
Can I trust the numbers on a structural job?
SiteRate gives material quantity estimates for general building work, based on standard SA industry mix ratios and rules of thumb, for planning and ordering. It is not a substitute for a structural engineer's design and should not be relied on for load-bearing elements, poor ground conditions, or anything requiring engineering certification — always confirm critical quantities with a qualified professional.
What happens to my saved jobs and pricing if I update the app?
